It pains me to say, but this five song EP doesn't do justice to either of it's usually daring and innovative creators. Sure, it's a nice placeholder while waiting for each partner's next rewarding full length recording, but Woodstock, no matter how heartfelt it is, doesn't challenge and suspend the listener's experience like previous efforts have. That said rather tactlessly, it's totally ironic that the best song of the five, Maloney's sparkling hand jivey No Shortcuts is named just that.
