This CD plods along like a mule trudging back in from the North 40 after a hard day in the rain. Stripped, lo-fi, DIY, and formulaic pop to an uncomfortable degree, Trey McGriff heads up a trio sounding like it mailed in its parts from Ottawa. The promo lit says his work will please fans of Beck, Ween, Tom Petty, and Jane's Addiction, but…well, okay, anyone who likes that idiot Beck will consume most any squatpoot in a jewel case. And Ween? Yeah, alright, they're no great shakes either, but Jane's Addiction? C'mon. Perry Farrell made some very hip cuts. Tom Petty? This disc couldn't wash his jockstrap, so let me yank it back out of my CD player, and I'm outta here.

Track List:

  • I Wake Up
  • Need It
  • Want to Want You
  • Nothing Like Good Times
  • Miles in Miles
  • Aditutde
  • Tearing You Up Inside
  • Perfect Escape
