Strange as it may sound giving a truly successful career spanning over thirty-five years, *Live New York City 1982* represents the first and only live recording of Bromberg's masterful quartet—Bromberg, Gene Johnson, Jeff Wisor, and Robert Amiot—to be released.

Pulled from Bromberg's private archives, kicks off fast and furious with Don't Let The Deal Go Down then quickly spins into a fiddle roller coaster medley jam that leaves you and the attendant New York audience breathless.

Be it Bob Dylan's as-of-then-unreleased, Desire-era country waltz Wallflower, or more traditional bluegrass fare as the rollicking Stay All Night or the classic Dark Hollow, the superior musicianship and intuitive interplay that has defined not only Bromberg solo but his band excursions is on full glorious display throughout LNYC 1982.

Track List:

  • Don't Let The Deal Go Down
  • Wallflower
  • Stay All Night
  • Ookpick Waltz
  • When I Was A Cowboy
  • Dark Hollow
  • The Creeper's Blues
  • Midnight Hour Blues
  • Sally Gooden/Old Joe Clark/Wheel Hoss/Sweet Jelly Roll
  • On Our Last Date
  • Fairfax County
  • The New Lee Highway Blues
  • Workin' on a Building
Mixed live warts and all by house engineer Larry Droppa.
