On their fifth recording overall and Sony BMG Masterworks debut, the internationally acclaimed sisters—cellist Maria, violinist Angella, and pianist Lucia—continue to fearlessly merge the classic with the contemporary.

Sonorously recorded and masterly performed, these simple yet elegant melodies by Kenji Bunch, Michael Nyman (Heart Asks Pleasure First—his haunted theme from The Piano, is particularly resounding); David Bowie and Pat Metheny (This Is Not America receives not one, but two brazen reworkings) and two form shifting rethinks of Rodgers & Hart's My Funny Valentine prove the sisters to be as wondrously impulsive as they are talented and forward thinking.
