Non-Dithering Color Table

This is a table of colors that Netscape will produce without dithering to the color cube. Since there colors aren't "dithered" they will display the same way on all types of monitors. This chart is here to help you determine the best colors to use for creating your documents.

The code in each cell is the hexadecimal code by your computer to create the color. To make a background color add the following to the body tag in your web document: BGCOLOR="#XXXXXX" where XXXXXX is the code in the cells of this page. You can also create background colors to a table by adding the bgcolor statement to the TABLE tag and to individual cells of a table by adding the bgcolor statement to the TD tag. To use this table to create font colors add COLOR="#XXXXXX" where XXXXXX is the code in the cells of this page to the FONT tag. Be sure that your font color contracts greatly with your text color to ensure readibility, particularly for those people who are still working with older VGA monitors.
